Povilas Pečiulis

CEO, Member of the Board

Povilas Pečiulis has over 20 years of experience in finance, investment, and project management. Povilas is the Managing Director of Modus Asset Management, responsible for the company's strategic direction, team building, investment fund development, and implementation.

Before joining Modus Asset Management, Povilas was CFO at Modus Group and headed the corporate transactions team. Modus Group is an international group of companies currently operating in 12 European markets. The Group's core business covers renewable energy, mobility services, automotive, and investment fund management company Modus Asset Management.

Most of Povilas' previous experience is closely related to the energy sector, having worked for EY Business Advisory Services and Swedbank.

Povilas graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in economics and then furthered his knowledge by studying executive studies at the Singularity Division of the American University in Vilnius.

Donatas Kundrotas

Investment Director, Member of the Board

With more than 12 years of experience in transactions, valuation, and modeling, Donatas Kundrotas leads fundraising and investment activities at Modus Asset Management, including investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, bank financing, and power purchase agreements (PPAs).

Before joining Modus Asset Management, Donatas was Head of M&A at Modus Group (2 years) and Financial Advisory Manager at Deloitte (8 years), advising private equity and strategic clients on business transactions.

Donatas was awarded CFA accreditation in 2014. He holds a Bachelor‘s degree in Economics from ISM University of Management and Economics (2010) and an executive MBA from BMI Executive Institute (2017).

Oleg Martyniuk

Non-executive Chairman of the Board

Oleg Martyniuk has more than 11 years of management experience. At Modus Asset Management UAB, Oleg maintains relationships with investors, financial institutions, and others.

Oleg is also a Modus Group Management Board member responsible for the automotive business. Previously, he led the Group's automotive, parking, and mobility companies, ensuring the rapid growth of these sectors.

Oleg holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from ISM University of Management and Economics (2010) and a Master's degree from St. He also has Master's degree in Economics from St. Andrews University (2013) and Executive Studies from IMD and Singularity University.

Aldona Lekšaitė

Compliance Officer

With more than 12 years of experience gained in various legal projects, Aldona handles fund formation, compliance, and corporate matters. Aldona advises on the applicable legal framework, drafts and oversees compliance programs and reports to regulators, and represents Modus Asset Management in its dealings with the Bank of Lithuania and other institutions.

Aldona has also worked as a lawyer at Modus Group for over six years. Before that, she provided legal services at ECOVIS law firm.

Aldona holds a Master's in Intellectual Property Law from Mykolas Romeris University.

Olga Kleinova

Risk Officer

With over 16 years of experience in internal and financial control, Olga contributes to the team with her knowledge of proactive and appropriate risk monitoring and management processes.

She is responsible for risk management, internal audit procedures, and tax compliance. She has also been working for more than 10 years at Modus Group as Director of Tax and Internal Control. Before joining Modus Asset Management, Olga was a Senior Auditor in the Audit Department at the State Audit Office of the Republic of Lithuania. She has worked as Audit Project Manager at Grant Thornton and Senior Consultant at EY.

Olga holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Vilnius University. She is a Chartered Internal Auditor and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors. Also, a certified member of the AML and ICA from 2023.

Marius Lukminas

Investment Manager

Marius has more than 11 years of professional experience in transactions, valuation, and modeling. Applying this experience at Modus Asset Management, his main responsibilities include fundraising, valuation and modeling, mergers & acquisitions, bank financing, and power purchase agreements (PPA).

Previously, he worked for 1.5 years as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Modus Group. He also worked in investment banking at Swedbank and management consulting at Civitta. 

Marius is CFA accredited in 2022. He graduated in Economics from Vilnius University (2015) and holds a Master's in Business Law from Mykolas Romeris University (2011).

Martynas Abečiūnas

Senior Investment Associate

Martynas has over five years of experience in financial and tax due diligence and business valuation projects. At Modus Asset Management, Martynas is involved in business valuation, modeling, and financial and tax due diligence supervision.

Previously, he was a senior consultant at Deloitte and PwC for over three years. 

Martynas holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from ISM University of Management and Economics (2018).

Vytenis Sušinskas

Investment Manager

Vytenis has over five years of experience in M&A transactions, valuation, and modeling. His main responsibilities at Modus Asset Management are valuation and modeling, M&A transactions, bank financing, and power purchase agreements (PPA).

Previously, held position of Strategy and Transactions Manager at EY.

Vytenis was awarded CFA accreditation in 2019. He graduated in economics from the University of Amsterdam (2012) and became a charter holder at the CFA Institute (2019). He also holds a financial broker license.

Aleks Valiukevič

Senior Investment Associate

Alex has more than three years of experience in private company valuation, pricing of various financial instruments, financial data analysis, and risk assessment. His main responsibilities at Modus Asset Management include valuation and modeling, analysis of the macroeconomic environment, implementation of mergers & acquisitions, coordination and supervision of due diligence processes, and power purchase agreements (PPA).

Previously, he worked as a Valuation Specialist at Swedbank Robur, Financial Data Analyst at Moody's Investors Service, and KYC Specialist at Swedbank Lithuania.

Alex is CFA accredited in 2022. He graduated in Finance from Vilnius University (2019).

Rūta Gabrusėnaitė

Investment Analyst

Rūta has over two years of professional experience in tax due diligence and business valuation. Her main responsibilities at Modus Asset Management are fund establishment, regulation and reporting, portfolio monitoring and optimization, business valuation, and modeling.

Previously, Rūta worked as a Tax Consultant at EY and as an associate insurer at Prokopius.

Rūta has a degree in Finance from ISM University of Management and Economics (2021). She participated in the Erasmus exchange program in France while studying at the IÉSEG School of Management (2019).

Pavlo Shalamaha

Technical Manager

Pavlo has more than eight years of experience in the energy sector, as well as experience in project management and consultancy (energy efficiency, technical verification assessment). His main responsibilities at Modus Asset Management are related to the technical due diligence, quality assurance, and operational supervision of renewable energy projects being acquired.

Previously, Pavlo worked as a project analyst at Ekozon Sp z o.o., as a junior wind energy analyst at DNV GL, and later as a manager of the solar energy group. He also worked as Technical Optimisation Manager at Alpha Solar Sp z o.o.

Pavlo graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology with a degree in Energy Engineering and obtained his Master's degree (2016). He holds the Project Management Certificate of Excellence "PM the Energy Way", DNV GL (2020).

Ieva Punytė

Head of Sustainability

With more than seven years of experience in the field of sustainability, Ieva Punytė coordinates the implementation of ESG in the funds' activities at Modus Asset Management.

Ieva holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Leiden University in the Netherlands (2015) and a Master's in Economics and Development Cooperation (2016).

Lukas Girdvainis

Investment Associate

Lukas has over two years of experience in M&A transactions, business valuation, and corporate finance. Within UAB “Modus Asset Management,” his responsibilities include valuation and modeling, implementing M&A transactions, and overseeing and coordinating due diligence workstreams.

Previously, he worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at “NDX Group” a Senior M&A Analyst at “Maxima Grupė”, and a Junior Accountant at “Baltic Assist”.

Lukas holds a Finance Bachelor’s Degree from ISM University of Management and Economics.
